On July 1-6, 2021 the summer session of the GR-school by Baikal Communications Group took place in Georgia. The event was held in partnership with the German-Georgian holding structure Schuchmann Group in the territory of its vineyards of the Georgian region Kakheti.

“Lots of people of our profession voice the opinion that wine and GR are inextricably bound up, so we decided to check this idea out. Colleagues have already named this event as a “wine” (not summer) GR-school. If seriously, the event was mainly aimed at researching the state of Russian investment in Georgia as well as forming the market proposals with regard to the investment protection. Soon we will announce that independently. But we can already underline that the office of Baikal Communications Group is to be launched in Tbilisi this September”, – commented on the event and its outcomes Eduard Voytenko.

Within the GR-course relevant presentations were delivered by former public officials of the Georgian Government and Tbilisi City Hall, who previously took responsibility for the development of tourist and agricultural industry. They shared their experience of interaction with business entities, including with corporate structures from Russia. Besides, they noted the growing investment interest of Russian business in the infrastructure and tourist projects of the country.
