In this and subsequent academic years, Eduard Voytenko, CEO of Baikal Communications Group, PhD in Political Science, Master of Law, Associate Professor of the Advertising and Public Relations Department at the MGIMO Faculty of International Journalism, as well as other specialists of the firm will teach at two master‘s programs in the field of GR and lobbying.

The first master‘s program  “Public Law and Building Interaction with Authorities (GR) was developed by the Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law of the Moscow State University Faculty of Law together with practitioners of the GR industry.

The program is aimed at training highly qualified personnel in the field of GR and lobbying activities for both government agencies and businesses.

The Master‘s program includes theoretical and practical blocks:

  • training courses providing fundamental training in the issues of the legal status and legal features of the functioning of Russian authorities and the procedure for their adoption of stategovernmental decisions;
  • special training courses that teach practical skills in carrying out the examination of draft regulations, organizing official meetings and conducting business negotiations, establishing safe, reliable and effective communication with government representatives;
  • visits to various government agencies and internships in them, as well as acquaintance with their specialists.

The training sessions are conducted by leading scientists and teachers of the Moscow State University Faculty of Law, as well as practitioners representatives of government agencies, non-profit organizations, as well as companies specializing in providing consulting, legal and expert services in this field.

Within this program, Baikal Communications Group specialists will conduct their course Fundamentals of GRactivity: history, theory, methodology, tools. The head of the course is Eduard Voytenko.

The second Master‘s program New Media and Strategic Communications is being implemented at the Advertising and Public Relations Department of the MGIMO Faculty of International Journalism.

The training program focuses on two areas: strategic communications and new media. It combines general training in public relations and advertising with an in-depth study of the features of strategic communications in the digital age and the development of new media tools, innovative information and communication technologies of the fourth industrial revolution.

Among the major disciplines:

  • Theory and practice of intercultural communication;
  • New media and communication strategy;
  • Information policy of Russia;
  • GR management and lobbying;
  • Anti-crisis communications in politics and business;
  • Public Affairs in Russia and abroad.

Within this program, Baikal Communications Group specialists will conduct two own courses: Public Affairs in Russia and foreign countries and GRmanagement and lobbying. The head of the master‘s courses is Eduard Voytenko.

The best graduates of both programs will be able to complete internships at Baikal Communications Group, Edward‘s East Strategies and the Research Centre for Legal Expertise.
