On December 20, sixty law students of the Russian universities got a certificate on successful completion of the course “Law as an essential tool in lobbying activities”. The course was arranged by the Department of Constitutional Law of MGIMO and Baikal Communications Group and was hosted by the MGIMO Law Club.

The course provided the students with practical knowledge about promoting business and NPOs’s interests in state authorities, about GR and lobbying tools, as well as about the features of GR communication between business and state in national and international environment. Much attention was paid to the aspects of administrative and parliamentary law in lobbying projects.

The course was held by the Director General of Baikal Communications Group Eduard Voytenko, Ph.D. in Political Science, a professional lobbyist, head of the GR Management and Lobbying Technologies course at the MGIMO’s School of International Journalism and the training course “GR and Lobbying in Business and NPOs”  at the MGIMO’s School of Business.
