Zhanna Vedrenne has been appointed new Director of the representative office in Paris. She will continue to expand partner network in Western Europe and will guarantee the company’s presence at specialized events. But her main task will be developing the international activity of Baikal Communications Group and increasing the pool of cross-border communication projects in non-profit and corporate segments.
“The arrival of an experienced international affairs specialist to the European representation follows the course of the Baikal Communications Group development strategy implementation that involves strengthening the competitiveness of the company in what concerns the participation in tenders by international donors, in particular the European Union and the World Bank”, commented the company’s CEO Eduard Voytenko.
Zhanna Vedrenne holds Master’s degrees in international relations from the Sorbonne University and St. Petersburg State University. In addition to working as a consultant, Zhanna led research and project activities at UNESCO, worked for the Organizing Committee of SPIEF and G20.
“What attracted me was a wide range of the company’s PR and GR services that overlaps with the communication bridge strategy between Europe and Asia and is combined with original techniques that are used by the colleagues. Europe has a request for reliable partners with a good knowledge of the Russian market specifics and a proactive approach. I am sure that interesting large-scale projects lie ahead”, said Ms Vedrenne.
The development of the European representative office corresponds with the positioning of Baikal Communications Group as a platform for information exchange between China, Russia and Europe.
