Baikal Communications Group short-listed for the competition on organization of the EU Study Weeks in Russia
Delegation of the European Union to Russia has invited a consortium leaded by Baikal Communications Group to develop a strategy of the EU Study Weeks in Russia 2016-2020.
Project called the EU Study Weeks provides Russian students studying international relations, history, law, economy and allied disciplines with an opportunity to learn more about the European Union, the EU-Russia relations from the leading specialists in European Studies both European and Russian. Among the experts are diplomats, civil servants, scientists, entrepreneurs, NGOs representatives, journalists. During few days of the programme selected final year and PhD students participate in lectures, interactive games, workshops aimed at knowledge exchange and building strong connections. The project has been implemented since 1998. For this period more than 60 the EU Study Weeks have been held in different Russian cities from Kaliningrad to Krasnoyarsk.
In June 2016 Delegation of the European Union to Russia opened a tender to find a partner for organization of the EU Study Weeks 2016-2020. Baikal Communications Group in a consortium with the French consulting company Sofreco has succeed at the first competition stage. Within the second stage short-listed companies are obliged to prepare the EU Study Weeks programme for the following four years, in particular to offer innovations in regards of the event formats and effectiveness measurement mechanisms, to develop the meetings agenda and expand the experts network.
