Baikal Communications Group shortlisted for the competition, concerning the arrangement of the EU Study Weeks in Russia

Delegation of the European Union to Russia invited a consortium led by Baikal Communications Group to develop a strategy for the EU Study Weeks in Russia 2016-2020.
The project called the EU Study Weeks provides Russian students studying international relations, history, law, economy, and allied disciplines with an opportunity to learn more about the European Union, the EU-Russia relations from the leading specialists in European Studies (both from Europe and Russia). Among the experts are diplomats, civil servants, scientists, entrepreneurs, NGOs representatives, journalists. During the several days of the program selected final year and PhD students participate in lectures, interactive games, workshops aimed at knowledge exchange and building strong connections. The project has been implemented since 1998. For this period more than 60 EU Study Weeks have been held in different Russian cities from Kaliningrad to Krasnoyarsk.
In June 2016 Delegation of the European Union to Russia opened a public tender to find a partner for the arrangement of the EU Study Weeks within the period 2016-2020. Baikal Communications Group in a consortium with the French consulting company Sofreco succeed at the first competition stage. Within the second stage shortlisted companies are obliged to prepare the EU Study Weeks program for the following four years, in particular, these companies need to offer innovations, regarding the event formats and effectiveness measurement mechanisms, develop the meetings’ agenda and expand the experts’ network.
