Among other areas of activity, Baikal Communications Group pays special attention to ESG consulting, as well as legislative work. For several years, the Lake Baikal Foundation and the Research Centre for Legal Expertise, established by the company, have been successfully developing. They help strengthen the company’s expert positions in these areas. 

This interaction was reflected in the corporate structure of the company: Anastasia Tsvetkova, CEO of the Foundation (Director of International Communications and CSR Practice of Baikal Communications Group) and Anastasia Parfenchikova, CEO of RCLE (Director of the Legislation Practice and Legal Research of Baikal Communications Group) became partners of the firm. They will continue to develop their areas of work in the company, integrating the experience of the Foundation and RCLE to solve the most difficult tasks in the field of sustainable development and lawmaking.

In addition, due to a significant increase in project GR and lobbying work in Russia and in the EAEU space, Yan Saveliev was appointed Director of the Practice for Interaction with authorities. Yan is a specialist with extensive experience in both federal executive authorities and international companies. He will be responsible for the communication part of the projects interacting with government authorities, business associations, development institutions and clients. In turn, Valery Afanasyev was appointed Director of the Regulatory Risk Assessment Practice. Over the several years of cooperation with the company, Valery has proved himself a successful performer in creating GR strategies and designing lobbying campaigns, monitoring regulatory changes in various sectors of the economy, and qualitative assessment of political, economic and regulatory risks, which has become the key to deliberate decisions for the development of the company’s clients’ business.
