Baikal Communications Group strengthens the professional competencies of specialists in relations with public authorities offering various formats for enhancing the skills they have and acquiring new knowledge. The training is conducted both at leading educational institutions and individually upon clients’ requests.
GR and Lobbying in Business and Nonprofit Sector
The first advanced GR training in Russia based on the concept of “practitioners for practitioners”: it is taught by GR experts from Russian and international companies of the real sector of the economy. The course is run jointly with the MGIMO School of Business and International Competence since 2018. The training aims at developing and improving the ability to represent and promote client’s interests at federal and regional governmental institutions, as well as at the international level including supranational level EEU. The training helps students to acquire the skills necessary to use GR tools in practice in various industries. The course was successfully held five times.

GR Management and Lobbying Technologies
The semester-long course included in the curriculum of the Master program at the PR Department of the Faculty of International Journalism of MGIMO. The course gives the basics of GR that are followed by the immersion into specific GR cases. During the course, students acquire competencies necessary to analyze the interests of the subject of GR communication, learn the methodology of work in this communications space, and familiarize themselves with professional ethics.
The course is held from February to May annually since 2015. The main audience consists of master students of MGIMO.
In 2019, Baikal Communications Group jointly with the MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency launched a new advanced training course in the field of political lobbying. The program is aimed at officials, politicians and the heads of their staffs, top management of private and public organizations. During the course, students will receive knowledge and skills that will contribute to election victories and growth in public service.
