[post_content] => The second “Corporate GR” forum organized by Baikal Communications Group took place on December 5, 2024. During the event, the company presented an analytical review of the key trends in business regulation for 2024-2025.

The target audience for the study includes both Russian and foreign companies. The overview aims to understand the general vectors and dynamics of changes in state policy in Russia, as well as its impact on business and society.

In an article published in RBC, Baikal Communications Group described 12 major regulatory trends that influence business, shaping key risks and opportunities for them, based on the previously prepared review.

Summing up the year 2024, experts from Baikal Communications Group noted that the Russian government demonstrated adaptability to work under sanctions pressure. As a result, there has been a debate about the near completion of the crisis regulation phase and a shift toward a more long-term and stable policy. However, in practice, the actions of regulators are still largely determined by crisis management goals, and opportunities for predicting changes remain limited.

The number of regulatory opportunities for business remains limited, but flexibility and the ability to engage in dialogue with the government through GR tools can become a significant competitive advantage for companies. Cooperation with regulators, focusing on key economic trends, and investing in localization and technologies will allow businesses not only to minimize risks but also to unlock new growth opportunities. In the context of a changing regulatory environment, this becomes not just a strategy but a necessity.
