Eighth graduate course “GR and lobbying in business and nonprofit sector”

On April 16, MGIMO completed the eighth round of the advanced training program “GR and lobbying in Business and Nonprofit Sector”, implemented by Baikal Communications Group in cooperation with the School of Business and International Proficiency.
42 students received certificates of advanced training.
The course lasted six days (60 academic hours). As part of the course, the methods and principles of lobbying in Russia and the supranational space, GR tools and technologies for building communications between business and government bodies were studied using the example of companies from various sectors of the economy, including companies with state participation. The role of GR in the ESG agenda, lobbying projects in e-commerce, the tobacco and pharmaceutical industries, the risks and opportunities of GR during the pandemic and sanctions regimes are only the part of the rich program of the course.
