GR School
Baikal Communications Group strengthens the professional competencies of specialists in the field of ESG и GR&Lobbying, offering various formats for enhancing the skills they have and acquiring new knowledge. The training is conducted both within the leading educational platforms and individually upon clients’ requests.
GR and Lobbying in Business and Nonprofit Sector
The first advanced GR training in Russia, based on the concept of “practitioners for practitioners”: among lecturers are officials of public and supranational authorities, relevant specialists of Russian and international companies from the real economy. The course has been successfully implemented in cooperation with the MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency since 2018. The training aims at developing and improving the ability to represent and promote clients’ interests at the level of federal and regional governmental institutions, as well as at the international level, including supranational level EEU dimension. The training helps students to acquire the unique GR skills, essential and applicable in versatile segments. The training program has been successfully held 14 times.
The course is run two times per year. All the information, regarding the structure, program’s timeframes, mode of study, participatory terms and conditions, is available on the course website. The registration is currently open (the 15th and 16th courses): 7-12 April 2025 and 13-18 October 2025.
Business management on ESG principles: from practitioners to practitioners
The advanced training course on ESG transformation is built on the “practice for practitioners” principle: the teachers are specialized practicing experts from various economic sectors. Since 2023, the course has been implemented jointly with the MGIMO School of Business and International Competencies. Students have the opportunity to immerse in the industry specifics of the integration and implementation of ESG approaches in leading companies in their field. The program also focuses on the specifics of the financial sector transformation in the context of ESG banking formation in Russia. As a result, students receive practical ESG integration and management tools that can be adapted in the context of their own business processes. The training program has been successfully held once.

Master’s program “Public Law and building Interaction with Authorities (GR)”
Baikal Communications Group is a partner of Lomonosov Moscow State University in the creation and implementation of the Master’s program in Public Law and GR. The program has been implemented since 2024 by the Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law of the MSU Faculty of Law. Within this program, the company’s specialists conduct their course: “Fundamentals of GR-activity: history, theory, methodology, tools”.
The head of the course is Eduard Voytenko, PhD in Political Science, Master of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at the MGIMO Faculty of International Journalism.

Master‘s program “New Media and Strategic Communications“
The Master‘s program is implemented at the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the MGIMO Faculty of International Journalism.
The training program focuses on two areas: strategic communications and new media. It combines general training in public relations and advertising with an in-depth study of the strategic communications features in the digital age and the development of new media tools, innovative information and communication technologies of the fourth industrial revolution.
Within this program, Baikal Communications Group specialists conduct two own courses: “Public Affairs in Russia and foreign countries“ and “GR–management and lobbying“. Eduard Voytenko is the head of the master‘s courses.

B-C-G x MGIMO Case Championship
Baikal Communications Group jointly with MGIMO Law Club annually holds the B-C-G x MGIMO Case Championship. The first event was successfully held in March-April 2024. The B-C-G x MGIMO Case Championship is a unique format in which participants solve normative tasks and model the implementation of GR and lobbying projects. Participation in the Case Championship allows students and postgraduates to develop and form personal skills and professional competencies, including the ability to conduct legal expertise, work in a team and present and promote their legislative position in a reasoned manner.

Workshops and other programs
Baikal Communications Group develops customized training programs in GR, predicated on the specific features of a client’s industry. In addition to that, our team arranges reputation management workshops for representatives of political and public entities. Within the training’s preparation we aim to assess clients’ needs and arrange the best possible, practice-based learning process.
